Our Speaker
Refine Conference 2026 is excited to welcome David Strope as this year’s speaker.
David E. Strope, D.D. serves as Interim Senior Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. He previously served as Interim National Representative of the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches (GARBC), representing and encouraging churches, assisting with pastoral placement, and mentoring pastors in the U.S. and abroad.
Dr. Strope pastored for 45 years in churches in New York and Iowa and has served on multiple GARBC councils. He currently serves on the council of Baptist Mid-Missions and has taught as an adjunct faculty member at Faith Baptist Bible College. He received an honorary doctorate from FBBC/TS in 2022.
David and his wife, Debbie, have been married and in ministry together for 49 years. They have three children and eleven grandchildren.
